Erica Potestio

Research Intern

Erica is a research intern in the Women’s Health department at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. She recently graduated with a Masters of Biomedical Science in Applied Reproductive Biotechnologies from the Ontario Veterinary College. Her passion for reproductive health flourished during this time as she performed in-vitro fertilization, and investigated the effects of endocrine disruptors on bovine embryo development.

Erica is continuing her passion for learning by working with Dr. Jumah to assess provision of women’s healthcare throughout Northwestern Ontario.
