Sierra holds a diploma in Indigenous Wellness and Addictions Prevention from Oshki-Pimache-O-Win Education and Training Institute/Canadore College and a Maternal Infant Support Worker certificate from Confederation College. She has been working as a Project Officer for the Maternal Addictions Continuum of Care program since August 2017. Sierra is also an Indigenous Doula in Thunder Bay, having completed the Full Spectrum Indigenous Doula Training at Zaagi’idiwin, as well as a Breastfeeding course from Baby-Friendly Initiative Ontario. She provides birth support for women delivering in Thunder Bay and supports Dr. Jumah in her clinical practice.
