Dr. Naana Jumah, BASc, DPhil, MD, FRCSC
Obstetrician Gynaecologist and Clinician Researcher
Dr. Jumah is an Obstetrician Gynaecologist and Clinician Researcher in Thunder Bay. She’s also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Science at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Dr. Jumah’s research and clinical practice primarily focuses on Indigenous women’s health and addiction in pregnancy in Northwestern Ontario. She holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a DPhil in Medical Engineering from Oxford University, which she completed as a Rhodes Scholar. Following her doctorate, she graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and specialization in Addiction Medicine at the University of Toronto.
